I guess I am late to the party. But I found Yahoo Groups and made a few groups on my subject. So I starting posting links to my sites.
It's really easy and fast link posting. QUESTION: Are these links any good in Google's eyes? Are "older" groups better to join vs. creating a new group or is relevant "key word" frequency better , that I can control (in the new group better)? |

First of all , have you noticed any visitors to your site who want the exact content which your site keyword emphasis on ??
And There is nothing bad if you getting traffic from that. |

mainly submitting to yahoo groups bring community traffic which is good but i don't think the links appear in google as a backlink. perhaps it's a nofollow links and i never saw yahoo group messages indexed in gogle...
